TooSix Media Group is a creative powerhouse based in Seoul, uniting three distinct brands under one mission: elevating voices and building original content. The group includes TooSix Media, a specialized voice-acting agency; V.O. HERO, a social media brand known for its engaging voice actor challenges; and the INFINITE SUITE, which spans Infinite Culture, Infinite Sports, and 기록되지 않은 채널 on YouTube.
Having evolved from a small casting agency in the 2010s into a multi-platform creative company, TooSix continues to expand into new growth areas without losing sight of its core strength: connecting exceptional voiceover talent to global opportunities. Unlike traditional media companies, TooSix blends casting expertise with a strong social presence, helping Korean and international creators reach audiences far beyond the studio. Through innovation, collaboration, and a passion for storytelling, TooSix Media Group is shaping the next generation of voice-driven media.
To understand the vision behind TooSix’s growth and creativity, we sat down with the director Matthew Rutledge for a conversation about the company’s journey, mission, and future.
About TooSix
What makes TooSix different from other creative media companies?
We take pride in connecting new and established voiceover talent to our clients from around the world, especially our Korean artists. And by creating TSMG brands on social media we’ve been able to introduce our work to audiences that were previously out of reach.
What is the most exciting project TooSixMG has worked on recently?
The answer to that hasn’t changed: We can’t talk about it! At least, not until the project has launched/aired. We finished recording the 2nd season of a Korean animated series available on streaming platforms next year in English (2026). That experience is tough to beat. But developing our first video game has probably been the most exciting project so far. Building a world and creating characters, environments and events from scratch has been the most rewarding so far.
If TooSixMG were a character in a movie/game, what type of character would it be?
Our company logo and mascot is ToopToop, the Owl. Definitely ToopToop.
Industry Insights
What major trends do you see in the voiceover / content creation / digital marketing industry right now?
Voiceover: AI, but not in the way most people think. That and remote recording software. Studios, producers and developers can work with talent anywhere in the world.
Content creation: AI. Creators have a seemingly limitless menu of generative software to explore new opportunities. That and content creation is a viable, and increasingly popular career path.
Digital Marketing: AI. It’s standard now - not experimental. SEO has moved there, and to social media. And authenticity outperforms big budget. Consistently.
Speaking of AI, how do you think AI, short-form videos, or generative tools will change the industry in the next 2–3 years?
AI will continue to accelerate and expand production. If we’re talking specifically about content creation the question should be, “Are you using AI as a shortcut, or does your team know to use it as a tool?” Short-form video will continue as an engine of discovery. Long-form will become more valuable and rarer, possibly.
About Matthew
What does a typical day in your role look like?
No day is typical. I go where I’m needed. And I leave staff alone to do their jobs.
Can you share a funny or surprising moment from building the company?
The day before our studio equipment was set to arrive at our first location, the water pipes froze and burst, flooding the entire floor of the building of our studio.
What keeps you motivated during high-pressure periods?
Coffee and experience.
What’s something most people don’t know about you?
I started in the business as a singer.
What book, film, or mentor influenced you the most in your leadership journey?
The Old Man and The Sea
Commitment to craft and dogged tenacity as virtue. However, Santiago would have benefitted from better infrastructure and systems before deciding to venture so far out.
Guns, Germs and Steel
A revolutionary work across disciplines. The ultimate lesson in Big Picture Thinking and learning to zoom out when approaching a challenge, building a team etc.
What advice would you give to young professionals entering the creative media industry?
“There’s nobody like you. Anywhere.” I think young people hear and see that a lot. And while it’s true, you are original and essential - you still need to diversify your skill set. You can’t tell a story if you don’t understand the tech of your field. Get curious about everything. Only a fool thinks they’ve learned all there is.
Looking ahead 3–5 years, TooSix Media Group envisions itself as a fully diversified creative agency, continuing to deliver high-quality recording and casting services while expanding its library of original content across multiple platforms. The company is already stepping into new technological frontiers, most notably through the development of its first video game, Apocalypto: Columbra, signaling a bold move into interactive storytelling. Defined by an ambitious, collaborative, and adaptive spirit, TooSix aims to empower the next generation of creators by fostering a diverse, global workspace where young professionals can experiment, learn, and amplify their voices within the industry.
